Sora Bread House operates under Massachusetts cottage food law (105 CMR 590), which
exempts qualifying home-based producers from state-level food processor licensing and
inspection. Separately, the kitchen holds a residential kitchen permit issued by the
Stoughton Board of Health — a local permit that's required in addition to, and distinct
from, the state cottage food exemption.
